The name Aeriax comes from the word “aerial,” since our original product was a mechanical control device for bucket trucks and other aerial equipment. We added the “x” because in a math equation, we’re always solving for x. X is the solution.

Aeriax began as a tool and die shop. One day, the owner was asked to make hand controls for a truck manufacturer. Those controls became very popular. By the time this truck manufacturer was purchased and then purchased again, the hand controls had become the mainstay of the company. People started to take notice and asked the original owner to make controls for them. The Aeriax of today was born out of that need.
Since being acquired by our current owner, Wes Johnson, in 2019, Aeriax has transformed from a small family-run business to a streamlined manufacturing facility with increased quality controls, faster production times, and enhanced customer service. We continue to grow as we partner with more companies who value our high-quality mechanical controls and our uncommon customer service.
